About Us

Adam Replogle grew up in Capitola, CA, where he gravitated towards the ocean at a very early age. He started surfing the local spots near his house and eventually moved up the coast a mile to Pleasure Point and finally all over the world as a highly ranked competitive surfer.

Widely known as one of the best surfers to come out of Santa Cruz, he's also known for being a really nice guy. Adam still lives within walking distance of his hometown Capitola stomping grounds and surfs daily.

Over the past 40 years, he has ridden many surfboards and enjoys every aspect of them: design, color, history and purpose. One person's trash in the surfboard world is often someone else's treasure. (Except Wavestorms.)

Adam will be the frontman of Your Board Santa Cruz and looks forward to helping you find a board – whether it's something you were looking for or something that surprises you!

FAVORITE BOARD(S): Currently my favorite boards are a 5’6” Lost MR ( California Twin) 5’9” Pyzel (Radius) Channel Islands 5’10” (Big Happy), favorite steps up are 6’2” Channel Island (Proton)and 6’6” Kalani Champman (Dick Brewer) and a 6’10” Channel Islands (M13).

HOW MANY BOARDS DO YOU CURRENTLY OWN?: I have about 30 boards in my quiver. Everything from a Surftech 5’3” CI Biscuit to a 10’2” Skip Frye glider. I own about 80 boards in total.

FAVORITE FIN(S): My favorite fins are currently the Channel Islands Medium, JJF Medium and Pivot Fin Medium (K 2.1)

FAVORITE SURFER(S): I was a surf groupie and studied these surfers religiously. Richard Cram, Tom Curren, Rabbit, Dane Occy in the mirror
